Brought up on three different continents (African, American, and European), Jérôme E. Conquy graduated from the British Film Institute and The Art Institute of Fort-Lauderdale (photography) in Florida. Attracted by the city of lights, Jérôme E. Conquy moved to Paris in 1997. Since then, he has worked across the world and published in many magazines (Elle, LeMonde2) He has also won various photography prizes (Le Scoop d’Angers) and his work has been projected at the Visa pour l’Image festival. He has exhibited in prestigious places (Le Divan du Monde) in Paris. He also does portraiture and still life. In 2007, his work on « Les Objets Trouvés à Paris » was published by Parigramme.
He is attracted to all types of photography. As Rauschenberg once said: « I am not interested in what I can do but rather what I cannot do or what I think I can’t ».
